In recent years London has become the destination of many weekend visitors. I also went to London for the weekend, I could see how in England that actually lived. Before departure, remember to replace some of those pounds, no Euro in UK, although Great Britain is an EU member. Luggage to be sure to enclose the reduction of electrical appliances.

Most of us knows London as a city full of red double-deckers, black cabs, red telephone booths, and mailboxes, in which could be hidden Mr. Bean. And so to today it really is. While fellow countryman will get used to driving on the right and crossing roads, but help you to be signs on the sidewalks “Look Left” and “Look Right.”

And where are then issued in London as the most interesting? In London you will find museums, historical sites, fine restaurants, galleries, night clubs and shopping malls but if you want to see the most typical in London, the goals are relatively clear. This way, I began exploring London too. The biggest attraction to book tickets online, or you risk that you will stand in line at the London Eye or the Wax Museum to be the whole morning. Prepare also to frequent security checks – in London, I realized how terrorism affects life here – in every museum in every major attraction or entering the large shopping center is often more thorough security check at the airport.

Our first destination was the London Underground, which was built by the first ever  in the world. Do correspond to some of its stations – modern buildings here and the tiny station where trains stop to the arch was due to lack of space and the radio still hear ‘Mind the gap “, then remember that when the train stops at the corner, his coaches are among the relatively large where the gap is not so hard to fall. Monotonous voice repeating this sentence is still kind of wheels are on the London underground, which lacks well as the whole city its charm. Orientation in the basement is not as complicated as it might appear at first sight and we soon got to visit the Royal Castle and crown jewels, which have a permanent exhibition in London, unlike in our country. Mandatory is a visit to Tower Bridge, located just a few hundred steps away from Tower Hill. The bridge is a real technological gem and even though now rises only on ceremonial occasions, it is one of the biggest attractions of London that you can see from the cellar and the engine room to the upper gallery with prospects.

On the bank of the River Thames, is anchored decommissioned military ship HMS Belfast, which became a very nice museum. You can look through the ship as it was used in battles such as the Falklands. Wax figures of sailors, complete outfitting and sounds and music in every corner of the ship you back about 30 years back. There are also various scents and odors in the kitchen so I feel really like the navy in the engine room and the kitchen is the same noise as when the ship cruised the world’s seas.

The second day was planned largest Ferris wheel in the world – London Eye – for about half an hour you can view London from a height of 135 meters. You can also rent a private cabin and do a little picnic. Anyway, the London Eye and see the most beautiful view of London as the hills in this part of England in short supply.

Another trip to the Wax Museum – perhaps the biggest attraction in London at all. Get ready for the crowds of tourists takes photographs with every celebrity. Dummy here but you can find freely distributed in large rooms and you can walk freely among them, hug them, photographing them or adjust your style. The only royal family is surrounded with the red string – all the fun ends here.

Worth a visit as well is the National Gallery, where you can find pictures of famous painters of the world. Then you can see the famous commercials strewn intersection Picadilly Circus or the Palace of Westminster, along with the tower of Big Ben or exposure to the London Dungeon, where to go back to the times of Jack the Ripper, plague or the largest fire, which in 1666 destroyed almost the entire London. What will surely be disappointed is Buckingham Palace. Instead prefer to go to London City or quirky and famous Notting Hill area.

The last day we went to the icon of the island – Stonehange. By train to Salisbury from London town you get roughly an hour from Salisbury to stonehange then runs regular buses and taxis. The Stone Temple in the middle of green meadows (and also next to the road) must-see, but no specific experience you probably carry away from here.

Overall, London and the surrounding area a place where you can spend an active or relaxed weekend for several weeks getting to know life here. I am glad that England has ever so distinctive as well due to conservatism on every, as present. If someone in the middle of the day teleported you to London, you know, even if you never been there that you are in London. London retains its charm and style – and that’s good.

The park is located just outside of Moab, Utah, and is 119 square miles in size. Its highest elevation is 5,653 feet at Elephant Butte, and its lowest elevation is 4,085 feet at the visitor center. Since 1970, forty-three arches have toppled because of erosion. The park receives 10 inches of rain a year on average.

The area, administered by the National Park Service, was originally designated as a national monument on April 12, 1929. It was redesignated a national park on November 12, 1971.

In 1991, he created Altitude, the first photo agency specialized in aerial photography.
In the 90s, under the patronage of UNESCO, he embarked upon his most ambitious project: creating an image bank of the earth seen from above. Yann’s aim was to create a record of the world’s environment for present and future generations. In 1999, his work was published and The Earth from Above, translated in 24 languages, became one of the best selling illustrated books with more than three million copies sold worldwide. The Earth from Above is also an open-air free access exhibition that travels in more than 100 cities around the world and has attracted to this date over 100 million visitors. But it is still a work in progress. Many countries remain to be visited, and geographical coordinates of every shot will allow other photographers and scientists to locate and document the evolution of these sites.

At the same time, Yann Arthus-Bertrand carries on with the systematic inventory of house pets and domestic breeds, photographing the animals in the studio or outdoors against a canvas backdrop.

In 2003 he launched “Six Billion Others”. Cameramen travel the world to meet and interview people as a mean to portray the planet under a humanistic angle. To date more than 4.000 interviews have been filmed in more than 65 countries.

In 2005 Yann Arthus-Bertrand created GoodPlanet, a non-profit organization which is dedicated to the promotion of sustainable development, his leitmotiv, through all his different projects. Yann would like to enable each and every one of us to become a custodian of our planet’s future and consequently of our own future. He also directed a series of four, two hour documentaries entitled Earth From Above – which was shown on French television in 2006-2007 –, and started this year the production of a feature length film on the state of the global environment and the challenges we are facing.
